World Internet Summit – $29,112 in 4 days April 16, 2009Posted by Brett McFall in : General , add a comment
Well it’s happened again.
An attendee from our audience has walked away with a cheque worth $29,112 … and all he had to do was sit and enjoy the world’s biggest internet business event.
Can you imagine how you’d feel if it was you?
Well the good news doesn’t end there. Because not only did someone walk away with $29,112, but a 2nd attendee also walked away with some cash – a cool $5,557!
Who are the folks in the photo? Well you’ve got Tom and I on the left, our winner Sam, then one of the lovely “Gold Coast Meter Maids” (their sole job is walking round the streets of the Gold Coast and paying for your car parking meter to stop you getting fined!) who were on hand to present the cheques, Sean Roach (who ran our “Internet Challenge”), a meter maid, and our 2nd winner, Linda.
This all happened before 600 people LIVE in the Gold Coast, Australia, March 2009.
In fact, here is some LIVE guerilla video footage of the presentation:
